Everything you need to know about our flat pack assembly, wall mounting and installation services.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in the Brighton area and cover Brighton, Hove, Saltdean, Rottingdean, Peacehaven and surrounding areas in East and West Sussex. We can also travel further afield depending on the job. For jobs outside our usual area, a small travel charge may apply.
What types of furniture do you assemble?
We assemble all types of flat pack furniture, including wardrobes, beds, chest of drawers, desks, tables, shelving, garden furniture, gym equiptment, nursery furniture and more. If you’re unsure, simply send us a photo or product link and we’ll let you know.
Do you assemble IKEA furniture?
Yes. We regularly assemble IKEA furniture including PAX wardrobes, beds, drawers, storage units and other IKEA ranges.
Can you assemble and fit PAX wardrobes?
Yes. We can assemble IKEA PAX wardrobes and, where suitable, can also help create a more fitted finish using infill panels and other finishing touches. Send us your PAX design and we can provide a quote.
Do you offer TV wall mounting?
Yes. We can wall mount TVs on suitable walls and can also install soundbars and other wall-mounted items. Please let us know the TV size and wall type when requesting a quote.
How do I get a quote?
The quickest way is to send us a message with details of the job, your postcode and any photos or product links you have. We can usually provide a quote from this information without needing a site visit.
Do I need to provide fixings?
Yes. As part of the Get It Together service, we provide the appropriate fixings needed for your installation, so you don’t need to worry about sourcing the right ones yourself. We’ll assess what’s being mounted and the wall type, then use suitable fixings to make sure the job is completed properly and securely.
Do you provide TV wall mounts?
TV wall mounts are not included as standard. If you don’t already have a suitable bracket, we will source the correct one for your TV and wall type if this is discussed before the appointment. The cost of the bracket would be added to your quote.
Can you disassemble furniture?
Yes, we can disassemble furniture where needed, whether it’s for moving, replacing an item or preparing it for disposal. Just let us know what needs taking apart when requesting your quote.
Do you remove packaging or old furniture?
We always tidy and organise packaging after assembly, but we do not currently provide trade waste removal. If disposal of old furniture is required, we can help arrange a suitable collection through one of our trusted local partners at an additional cost.
Do you work in commercial properties?
Yes. As well as residential homes, we regularly carry out assembly and installation work in offices, salons, care homes, rental properties and other commercial premises.
What happens if parts are missing or damaged?
If we discover missing or damaged parts during assembly, we’ll let you know straight away. In most cases the retailer or manufacturer will need to provide replacement parts before the job can be completed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept cash and bank transfer. Payment is usually made once the work has been completed, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Are you insured?
Yes. Get It Together is covered by £2 million public liability insurance, giving you extra peace of mind while work is being carried out in your home or property.
How do I book?
Simply get in touch with details of what you need, your postcode and any photos or product links. Once we’ve confirmed the price and availability, we can arrange a date that works for you.
How far in advance should I book?
Availability varies depending on the time of year and the size of the job. We recommend getting in touch as soon as you know your delivery or preferred date, but we’ll always try to accommodate shorter-notice bookings where possible.
